If you’re tired of UKGC-licensed casinos that slash bonus value and restrict your options, Golden Genie Casino offers a genuine alternative. The site launched in 2023 under a Curacao eGaming licence and delivers a golden genie-sized welcome package across five deposits – up to £6,000 plus 175 free spins. Your first deposit alone carries a 400% match up to £2,000 with 100 free spins. That’s the kind of opening offer that makes you sit up and pay attention.
The Welcome Package – What You Get Across Five Deposits
The welcome package builds progressively. Your first deposit is the heavyweight: 400% up to £2,000 with 100 free spins. The remaining four deposits fill out the rest of the £6,000 total and add 75 more free spins. Each tier requires a minimum deposit of just £15, and wagering sits at x50 across the board. You can track your progress in real time under Account – My Bonuses.

Bonus code VRS130 is available for new players. Enter it during registration or at the deposit step. If the code doesn’t apply, check your deposit hit the £15 minimum and that no other active bonus is running on your account.
Game Library – Over 2,000 Titles
The game lobby runs straight in your browser – no download, no plugin. Over 2,000 titles covering slots, live dealer tables, classic table games, and video poker. Category filters and a search bar let you narrow results by provider, game type, or popularity in seconds. The slot catalogue alone tops 1,000 titles, spanning Megaways, progressive jackpots, high-volatility video slots, and classic three-reel formats.
- Book of Dead (Play’n GO)
- Sweet Bonanza (Pragmatic Play)
- Bonanza Megaways (BTG)

- Mega Moolah (Microgaming) – progressive jackpot
- Dead or Alive 2 (NetEnt)

Registration – Three Minutes to an Active Account
The registration form is a single-page process:
- Click the sign-up button at the top of the homepage
- Enter your full name, date of birth, and email address
- Create a secure password, select GBP as your account currency, and enter bonus code VRS130 if the promo field is shown
- Accept the Terms and Conditions and submit – your account is active immediately
Your first deposit can be made right away from Account – Cashier – Deposit. Card and e-wallet payments process instantly with no fee charged by the platform. Cryptocurrency deposits (BTC, ETH) are also supported.
Non-GamStop Access – What It Actually Means
Golden Genie Casino is not registered with GamStop. Players who have not self-excluded through the UK’s national scheme can register and play without restriction from that system. The site operates under Curacao eGaming Master Licence 854151, issued to Golden Genie LTD, and uses 128-bit SSL encryption with TLS protocol on all financial transactions. Player funds are held separately from operational accounts.
This is not a UKGC-licensed casino. If you want a bonus structure that isn’t hamstrung by UKGC caps and a game library that includes progressive jackpots and live dealer tables from Evolution Gaming, Golden Genie Casino delivers exactly that.
Practical Takeaway
The welcome package is the headline – a 400% match on your first deposit up to £2,000 with 100 free spins is rare even among non-GamStop casinos. Use bonus code VRS130 at registration, make sure your first deposit hits £15, and track your wagering progress under Account – My Bonuses. Withdrawals require KYC verification (government-issued photo ID and proof of address), so upload those documents early to avoid delays. The site runs on mobile browsers without an app, live chat is available 24/7, and GBP accounts are supported natively. If you’re a UK player looking for a non-GamStop alternative with a genuinely generous welcome package, this is one of the stronger options on the table.
